CRUISE DETAILS
SNORKEL SPOT (1st part of trip) - We take you on a beautiful sail through Grand Lagoon and into St. Andrew's Bay towards the snorkel spot. There the boat will anchor in about 4 ft. of water of the bay side of Shell Island where you can go as shallow as two feet or deeper, whatever you are comfortable with. All ages can enjoy this spot with snorkeling, swimming, and shell collecting. Easy access allows you to get on and off the boat as you please.
DOLPHIN SWIM SPOT (2nd part of trip)- The boat sails through the shipping channel to the Gulf of Mexico side of Shell Island to locate the dolphins in the famous beautiful clear waters. Once a large group of dolphins is located the captain will anchor the boat (weather and conditions permitting) so everyone can get a chance to be in the water with the dolphins. At this point a buoy line is put in the water to set a boundary and all swimmers are required to wear a life jacket as the depth ranges from 10 - 15 ft. deep.

Special Note: This trip is usually run 1-2 times a day during the spring and fall, and 3 times a day during the summer.

DISCLAIMER ABOUT DOLPHINS
The dolphins are wild animals in their natural habitat, they are not in tanks or netted areas. It is highly recommended that you wear polarized sunglasses to cut the glare on the water to be able to better see the beautiful wild dolphins. Swimming with the dolphins is NOT A GUARANTEE; it depends on the current conditions and is up to the captain's discretion. If the dolphins are feeding, mating, swimming in the shipping channel, or if the waves are too rough we will not be able to swim with them. Swimming with the dolphins does not mean you will be able to touch or pet them, it only means being in the water with them swimming around you. They could be two to twenty feet from you or not come up to you at all. However, it is pretty rare for us to not see the dolphins. If the captain is unable to anchor the boat near the dolphins you will spend that time viewing the dolphin from the boat, which can also be very exciting as they sometimes get curious or put on a show.

Once again, these are WILD dolphins in their natural habitat doing what they want to do. Our encounters observe them on their terms and depend on what they are doing and their mood. Encounters happen on nearly every trip; however, there is no way that we can guarantee it. We are bound by the laws of The Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972 and subsequent amendments, in addition to the laws of the State of Florida. We are not allowed to feed or harass dolphins.
